William “Bill” Kingham, 87, Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 at his home.
He was born May 31, 1935 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma to Isaac and Minnie (Cargill) Kingham.
Bill attended Tecumseh Public Schools and schools in Phillips, Texas.
He married Mary Lois Ray on September 29, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico. She preceded him in death on May 11, 2014.
Bill and Mary raised their family throughout United States including, Texas, New Mexico, California, Florida and Oklahoma. On March 24, 1967 they made their home in Tecumseh where they have lived since.
Bill proudly served his country in the United State Air Force and was honorably discharged.
He worked at Tinker Field from 1967 until his retirement in 1988.
Bill was a member of Highland Church of Christ in Tecumseh. He enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking and doing mechanic work.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lois Kingham; his parents, Isaac and Minnie Kingham; 4 sisters, Myrtle, Ella, Ada and Wilma; and 2 brothers, Robert and Herbert.
Those left to cherish his memory are 2 daughters, Anna Louise and Tom Hennigh of Shawnee, OK and Mary Ruth and Bennie Tate of Wynnewood, OK; 1 son, Kurt Wesley and Angela Kingham of Tecumseh, OK; 9 grandchildren, Michael “Chris” and Diana Low, Cherrie and Bobby Norman, Jennifer McBroom and Ronnie Taylor, Elizabeth Sturmon, Stephen and Jean Kingham, Sarah and Eli Savage, Tim Tate, Cody Hale, and Kaitlin and Brandon St. Clair; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Casket will remain closed during visitation and service. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Erick Henson, Tecumseh Highland Church of Christ officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. Services will conclude at Cooper Funeral Home.
