Wanda Mae Voss

Wanda Mae Voss, age 87, of McLoud, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

She was born December 31, 1938, in Terrell, Oklahoma to Henry Louis and Omie Bell (Brashears) Locke.  She was raised in Loop, Texas.  She married Jackie "Don" Voss on January 18, 1957, in Wichita Falls, Texas at Shepard Air Force Base.  She lived numerous places as a military spouse.

Wanda lived most of her life in McLoud where she worked for McLoud public schools as a cafeteria supervisor, before retiring after over 20 years of service.  She was a longtime member of the McLoud First Assembly of God church, where she loved attending worship with her church family.  She enjoyed singing, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by; her father, Henry Locke; her mother, Omie Byrd; her husband, Jack Voss; her grandson, Kenneth Voss; and her brothers, Rayford Locke and Alfred Combs.

Those left to cherish her memory are; her children, Treasa, Beckie, Mickie, and Gerald; 13 Grandchildren; 27 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great Grandchild, and numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh Oklahoma.  Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2026, at McLoud First Assembly of God Church, McLoud, Oklahoma with Reverend Danny and Michelle Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
