Wanda June Robinson Hill, 78 years old, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, has gone to be with Jesus, January 1, 2022.  Wanda was born in Dallas, Texas to Joseph Cecil Robinson and Dessie Mae Morton Robinson, on September 26th, 1943.

Wanda attended Harjo High School where she graduated Salutatorian, in 1961. She also attended Oklahoma Baptist University in pursuit of a business degree.

Wanda married the love of her life, Arnold Ralph Hill, on December 1st, 1961 at 18 years old, after meeting him on Main Street in Shawnee.

She is preceded in death by her dad and mom, Joseph and Dessie Robinson, her brother Timothy Robinson, and her precious son, Edwin Arnold Hill.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Arnold Ralph Hill, where they just celebrated 60 years together. She is also survived by her children, Angela Diane Hill of Shawnee, and Jonathan Mark Hill and wife Danielle Hill of Edmond.  She is also survived by her siblings, Elsie Birdsell, Jimmie Robinson, and Billy Don Robinson. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she would move heaven and earth to be with them and attend their activities.  Diane Alldredge, Cooper Hill, Joseph Alldredge, Angela Alldredge, Elijah Hill, and Lincoln Hill.  Her first great-grandchild was born in November, and her 2nd great-grandchild is due in February.

Wanda loved her church, Trinity Baptist Church, where her and Ralph were members for 57 years. Wanda was a Master Gardner, business owner, and was the Executive Assistant to the District President of Oklahoma Natural Gas of Shawnee, where she was employed for 35 years.

She was a faithful member of Business Professional Women, where she served 2 terms as State President. She also loved serving as a member of the Salvation Army and American Legion, among several Shawnee civic organizations she was involved in.

Wanda would want you to know she loved Jesus, her quiet times daily in God’s Word and she remained a prayer warrior for countless friends and family to the very end.  She loved flowers, long walks by the lake and to hear her grandchildren laughing. She loved her monthly sibling lunch and she deeply loved her church family, her church women, her Cubby and her children.  She never spoke ill of others and humbly lived out her life daily with love and grace to others and putting the needs of everyone else before herself.
