Vivian Jean (Moon) Klaus, 86, of Moore, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 in Tecumseh.
She was born March 1, 1936 to Roy and Jessie (Cearley) Moon in Crystal Springs, Arkansas.
Vivian was raised in Wewoka, Oklahoma and attended Wewoka Public Schools. She graduated from Wewoka High School in May, 1954.
She married Jimmy L. Klaus on June 8, 1962 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 2012.
Vivian was a devout, baptized member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses faith from 1968 until her death. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. She was a professional housekeeper from 1974-1986 and was also a legal secretary for several years before that in the abstract and title business from 1956-1974 in Oklahoma City, Shawnee, Wewoka and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Vivian was an avid shopper, enjoyed country and western music and classic television shows such as Little House On the Prairie, The Waltons and Gunsmoke.
She was preceded in death by both her husbands, Jimmy L. Klaus in 2012 and Bill Bedwell in 1999; her parents, Roy and Jessie Moon (deceased 1965 and 2000, respectively); and her brother, Kenneth Moon in 1998.
Those left to cherish her memory are her 2 sons, Grayson Bedwell and his life partner, Bart and Jimmy Leon Klaus, Jr., and his wife, Joanna; 3 daughters, Brenda Klaus and her life partner, JoAnn, Kathy Klaus-Brown and Sara Klaus and her life partner, Steve; sister, Wanda Moon Hollingsworth and her husband,and her husband, Nate; 7 grandchildren, Justin Brown and his wife, Kara, Jared Brown, Jacob Klaus and his wife, Megan, Zachary Klaus and his wife, Brooke, Brandon Blalack, Johnathan Blalack and Matthew Blalack; 4 great-grandchildren, Jayden Brown, Krislyn Brown, Wyatt Brown and Leon Klaus; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2022 and continue through service time. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Enhabit Hospice Care Chaplain officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
