Virgil “Kenny” Niccum, Jr., 62, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at his home.
He was born October 6, 1958 to Virgil Kenneth Niccum, Sr. and Roberta May (Brawdy) Motley in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Kenny was raised in Southwest Oklahoma City and Moore. He graduated from Moore High School in 1979.
He worked for the State of Oklahoma for more than 20 years in environmental remediation.
Kenny loved car shows, cookouts, bonfires and camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Kenneth Niccum, Sr.; and his mother, Roberta May Motley.
Survivors include his daughter, Courtney Niccum of Shawnee, OK; 2 sons, Chad and Travoshia Niccum of Shawnee, OK and Nick and Amber Niccum of Seminole, OK; his special companion, Layla the dog; 7 grandchildren, Gabriel Niccum, Brantley Niccum, McKenzie Niccum, Gunner Niccum, Braxton Niccum, Cason Niccum and Brynlee Niccum; 2 sisters, Barbara Glover of Tecumseh, OK and Virginia House of Holdenville, OK; and other extended family and friends.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, Oklahoma. Cremation arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. There will be no viewing.
