Theodore "Ted" Harjoe

Theodore “Ted” Harjoe, 74, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Shawnee. 

He was born June 28, 1946 to Barney and Jennie (Dirt) Harjoe in Seminole, Oklahoma. 

Ted was raised in Seminole and attended Prairie Valley Elementary and graduated from Strother High School in 1967.   He lived most of his adult life in Shawnee. 

He married Mary Christine Paebody on November 30, 1973 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

Ted was Lead Saw Man at Higgins Truss Company for many years.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Jennie Harjoe; and infant twin brothers. 

Survivors include his wife, Mary Harjoe of the home; 2 daughters, Sonja Harjoe and Dawn Harjoe, both of Shawnee, OK; and many extended family and friends. 

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home.  Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Riley Family Cemetery in Seminole, OK with Freeland “Rusty” Carpitcher officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
