Tanya G (Ellis) Stone

Tanya G. Stone, age 44, of Oklahoma City passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK.

She was born December 4, 1976 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Don and Shirley (Thompson) Ellis.

Tanya was raised in Tecumseh. She graduated with honors from Tecumseh High School with the class of 1995. While in high school Tanya made All State with the Tecumseh High School marching band.

She attended classes at East Central University, then married Mark Stone on December 13, 1997 in Tecumseh. They moved to Nowata and then lived in Stillwater from 2005 until 2009. From there they moved to Tulsa and then to the Oklahoma City area in 2011, living there since.

Tanya had a talent for, and loved, photography. She was a Chicago Bears Fan and loved Star Trek. Most of all, her family was everything to her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Mark of the home; daughter, Saria Stone of the home; son, Patrick Stone of the home; sister, Stefanie Ellis-Blankinship of Norman; parents, Don and Shirley Ellis of Tecumseh; nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dean Stone of Ada First Freewill Baptist Church, Ada, OK officiating.
