Sylvia Elizabeth Sisco, age 77, a longtime resident of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, in Hettinger, North Dakota. She was born on July 6, 1948, in Alhambra, California, to Victor and Mary Frost.
Sylvia grew up surrounded by love and laughter alongside her siblings Bill, Vicki, and Larry, all of whom preceded her in passing. On June 17, 1965, she married the love of her life, David Ray Sisco, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage before his passing in October 2009. Together they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and love.
A devoted wife, mother, and friend, Sylvia took immense pride in her family. She was the loving mother of three sons — David Jr., Kenneth, and Wesley — who were her greatest joy.
Sylvia was a faithful member of Cross Connection Church for many years, where she formed lifelong friendships and found great strength and purpose in her faith community.
In October 2022, Sylvia moved to New England, North Dakota, to be near her son Kenneth, his wife Sharon, and her beloved granddaughter Hannah. She cherished her time with them and left behind precious memories that will enrich their lives forever more.
In addition to her three sons, Sylvia leaves behind her beloved daughters-in-law Kristin and Sharon; five grandchildren — Matthew, Britni, Jacob, Shelbi, and Hannah; and four great-grandchildren — Carli, Pike, Isabella, and Jaxon. Each of them carries a piece of her love, wisdom, and warmth in their hearts.
Sylvia will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her laughter, and the unwavering love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and compassion will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
