Steven Ray Murry Jr.

Steven Ray Murry, Jr., 27, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away on February 10, 2024 at Shawnee, Oklahoma.

He was born on June 25, 1996 to Steven Murry Sr. and Dana Haumpy in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Steven worked as a carpenter in construction and remodeling.  His children were the highlight of his life.  

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Billy Haumpy; and his adopted grandmother, Tammie “Sasa” Grant.

Steven is survived by, his mother, Dana Haumpy and stepfather, Mel Walters of the home; his father, Steve Murry Sr. of Lincoln, NE, his children, Tytrelle Jones, Detranyce Jones, Dashanea Jones, Tyven Jones, KyJoana Floyd, Sherie Johnson, Carlos Murry, Iesha Johnson, Deuntre Johnson, Aquarius Henderson, and Stevie Cox; his siblings, Sencia Grant of Shawnee, Ashely Grant of Shawnee, Tyneeka Brannon of Oklahoma City, Tkeyah Brannon of Shawnee, Stevey Murry of Shawnee, Lijuan Haumpy of Tecumseh, Ma-yia Haumpy of Oklahoma City, Kane Haumpy of Tecumseh, and Zaylee Haumpy of Tecumseh and numerous other family and friends.

Service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday February 15, 2024 at Horseshoe Bend Community Center with Jones Walker officiating.  Cremation arrangements will be handled by Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
