Steven Dale Eeds, age 55, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Steven was born January 21, 1969 in Enid, Oklahoma, to Dale and Sue (Stateler) Eeds.
Steven was married to Lori (Batt) Eeds for 17 years and raised 3 girls together and remained friends through the years.
He was raised in a military family and has lived in many different places as a child. He attended school in over ten different schools and graduated from Wayne High School Class of 1987
Steven retired from the US Army National Guard serving from 1995-2005. He served two deployments to Iraq and retired from the US Army April 1, 2015. He was deployed with Homeland Security to New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina, and later to Little Rock, AR.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, being outdoors, grilling and family vacations. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Ranae Farrow.
He is survived by three daughters, Kayla DeCamp and Glenn of Tecumseh; Kasey Rutledge and Dalon of Shawnee; and Kaitlyn Eeds of Tecumseh; girl’s mother, Lori (Batt) Kirkpatrick; grandson Gage DeCamp; sister, Debbie Wilson and Eddie of Tecumseh; step-father, Joe Conger of Dustin; nieces and nephews, Brad Schmidt, Amanda Murray, Chris Wilson, Laura Peoples, and Josh Farrow, and many great nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Sharon Baptist Church, Tecumseh, OK with Reverend Clint Dawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh
