Starla Sue Van Horn

Starla Sue (West) Van Horn age 64, of Luther, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025.

She was born April 7, 1961 to Carl and Bonita West in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Starla and Don Van Horn married in 2001.

She devoted her life to being a homemaker.

Starla was preceded in death by her husband, Don Van Horn; father, Carl West; grandma and grandpa West, grandma and grandpa Gentry; 2 uncles, Leon West and John West; 1 nephew, Arron Smith.

She is survived by her mother, Bonita West of Kingfisher, OK; brother, Doug and Ruth West of Tecumseh, OK; sister, Genia and Ricky Smith of Davenport, OK; daughter, Tommie Stevenson of Tecumseh, OK; sons, Timmy Yates of Shawnee, OK, Shane Yates of Shawnee, OK; stepson, Craig Van Horn of Wewoka, OK, 2 uncles, 4 aunts, 8 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and  extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be at a later date. We will notify everyone of the time and place.
