Shirley Jean Early-Glover, age 78, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
She was born May 21, 1946 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to William and Ola (Macdonald) Hackett.
Shirley attended elementary school at Shawnee and Dale then graduated from Tecumseh High School, she took vocational ed and received various certificates.
She married Robert Lewis Glover August 8, 2011 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Shirley worked as a med aide for most of her life. She loved to crochet, sew, knitting, gardening and crafts of all kinds. Shirley also enjoyed painting and flipping houses and spending time with her family. She was Pentecostal Holiness all of her life and loved the Lord and attending church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ola Hackett; brothers, Bill, Lloyd, Lonnie, Kenneth and Tommy Hackett; sisters, Allie Young, and Beulah Milburn; several nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her husband of the home, Robert Lewis Glover of Shawnee, OK; sons, Steven and Jason Leader, Larry and Buddy Thomason; stepsons, Charles and James Glover; stepdaughters, Latecia and Paula Glover, Angie Ball and their spouses; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2025 at Dale Cemetery with Reverend Dennis Traxler of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Shawnee, Oklahoma, officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
