Sandra Wiley

Sandra “Sandye” Wilene Parsons Wiley was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on September 7, 1942 and walked through the gates of Heaven on July 27, 2024 surrounded by family and loved ones.  

Sandye lived a full 81 years, and she never met a stranger. She loved her family dearly and looked forward to spending quality time together. She was full of life, love, and joy.

Sandye was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church where she loved worshiping her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She had a laugh that was contagious and a love for people to know Jesus. Sandye was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Sandye was preceded in death by her parents Geraldine and Arthur Parsons, her loving husband Paul Wiley, and sister Diane Parsons Campbell.

She is survived by her children; Randy C. Childers of Shawnee, OK, Steve Childers and wife, Melissa of Hallsville, TX, Lori D’Ann Childers of McLoud, OK, and Morgan Parr and husband Chris of Beaufort, SC. Grandchildren Tara Lanning and husband Patrick, Lindsay Pike and husband Rikki, Randy Childers, Cory Bailey, Victoria Vansant, Alexandria Thomas, and Ethan Parr. She is also survived by her brother, Jim Parsons, nephews Jeremy Parsons and wife Julie, and James Parsons, Diane’s daughters Cheri Campbell, Jeri Miranda and husband Rudy, Keri Hanna and husband Tim, and Teri Brosofske, and her cherished cousin Jane Childers. Additionally, she had several great-grandchildren, step-children, and step-grandchildren.

The family has designated The Toby Keith Foundation Kids Korral, 818 NE 8th Street, Oklahoma City, OK  73104; www.tobykeithfoundation.org/ok-kids-korral as appropriate for memorials in lieu of flowers.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2024 and continue through service time.  Service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Liberty Baptist Church with Pastor Phil Thompson, Liberty Baptist Church officiating.  Burial will follow at Rossville Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
