Sandra Kay Smithey

Sandra Kay Smithey joined her eldest sister, Karen Jean Pylant, husband Don Smithey, mother, Elza Mae Rogers and father, William Edgar Rogers in heaven on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

She is survived by her sister, Sherry Ann Gaines; brother, Bill Ed Rogers; sons, Mitchell and Tony Wano; grandkids, Alexia, Tharon, Logan, and Hannah Wano.

Sandra was a loving mother, and she spoiled her grandkids. Family was her first priority, always.

She enjoyed stained glass crafting and traveling. Sandra liked taking people out to eat, and always picked up the tab.

In her golden years, Sandra enjoyed watching wildlife from her porch.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home and continue through service time. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
