Ronald William Vorholt, 84, of Paden, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was born October 17, 1937 to John Henry and Ruby I. (Miller) Vorholt in St. Louis, Missouri.
Ronald was raised in St. Louis. After high school he attended college for 3 years.
He lived in Kalamazoo, Michigan for many years working for General Motors. He moved to Oklahoma where he lived for the last 46 years where he worked for General Motors until his retirement.
Ronald married Betty Collins on April 23, 2012 in Miami, Oklahoma.
He loved woodworking, carpentry, working on cars and working at his church.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Richard Baughman; his parents; and twin brother, Donald Vorholt.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Collins of the home; son, Bill and Diana Vorholt of Richland, MI; daughters, Debbie Chadziutko of St. Petersburg, FL, Donna Echols of Las Vegas, NV, Kathy Barnes, of Tennessee, and Debbie Frair of Wewoka, OK; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Greg Vorholt of North Carolina; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2022 and continue through service time. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Terry Pittman, First Baptist Church, Paden, OK officiating. Burial will follow at Madden Family Cemetery in Crocker, Missouri under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
