Ronald "Ron" Lynn Everett

Ronald Lynn Everett, age 67 of Porum, Oklahoma passed from this life Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in Dallas, Texas.

He was born August 16, 1957 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Sherman Edward and Carol (Pierce) Everett.  

Ron was raised in Shawnee and graduated from Shawnee High School.

He married Sara Lyn Sharp on June 30, 1978 in Shawnee, OK.

Ron was employed in the oil field his whole life, including with Sharp Oil, Chesapeake, and later as a consultant.  He enjoyed music, OU sports, especially football, fishing and spending time with his grandkids.  He was a longtime member of the Church of Christ.  

He is preceded in death by; his parents, and grandparents.

Survivors include; wife, Sara Lyn Everett; son, Anthony Grant Everett and wife Ashleigh; daughter, Elizabeth Lauren Everett; grandchildren, Brody Gavin Bryce, Andon Gray Bryce, Elijah Kai Bellew, Alexandra Grace Everett, Scottlyn Lily Jenkins, Sydney Gray Everett, and Wiley Sage Jenkins; brother, Coy Everett; and numerous other family and friends. 

Service will be 10:30 AM, Monday, November 18, 2024 at Highland Church of Christ in Tecumseh with Bryan Schackmann officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
