Reign Phil Howe, age 56, born July 17, 1968, left this earth on February 20, 2025, at 4:32 AM. Reign was born to Carolyn Little Axe and Eric Eugene Howe on July 17, 1968.
Reign is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John Little Axe and Lillian Sloan Little Axe; his paternal grandparents, Earl Howe Sr. and Vivian Moore Howe; his father, Eric Eugene Howe; and one brother, Brandon Howe. He is survived by his parents, Keith and Carolyn Little Axe-Sadongei of Little Axe; his brother Jarrett Svoboda of Ponca City, Oklahoma, his sister, Rhiannon Bruner of Little Axe; two nieces, Kaylee TwoHatchet of Oklahoma City and Emily Bruner of Little Axe; three nephews, Aidan Bruner, Josiah Bruner, and Mason Bruner of Little Axe; and one great-niece, Kiowa Two Hatchet Finney of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by his longtime friend, Santos Carrillo of Little Axe, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Reign was an enrolled member of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe and was also of Ponca and Otoe descent. During his youth, Reign enjoyed playing baseball and was an active participant in the Shawnee youth league. He later attended Mustang High School, where he continued his passion for baseball. Mustang High even created a special play just for Reign. He graduated from Mustang in 1986. Reign furthered his education at Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC), where he earned a degree in CNC Machining. He worked for Fred Jones Ford for years before concluding his career as a CNC machine operator.
Reign loved a good game of pool and often entered tournaments, bringing home numerous winnings. He cherished spending time with his nieces and nephews, whether fishing, tubing on the lake, or teaching them how to ride a bike. He was known for his love of pranks, always finding ways to bring laughter to those around him. Reign also had a deep appreciation for movies, often spending hours with his parents trying to guess the endings.
He loved to terrorize friends and family, especially his mom. He liked to "visit," as he called it. He and his mom would tease each other for a bit before finally one hanging up on the other. You could always count on Reign waking you up on Saturday mornings while you were trying to sleep in. He loved a good laugh.
He was loved by all and lived a fulfilling life, frequently reminiscing with friends and sharing laughs over his many adventures and mischievous antics.
Reign's legacy of laughter, kindness, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
