Paul Dewayne Bachhofer

Paul Dewayne Bachhofer, 73, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2024, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Born on September 21, 1950, in Shawnee, to L.D. and Bonnie May (Patton) Bachhofer, Paul grew up in both Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Sweetwater, Texas.

In 1968, Paul proudly enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served in Korea and Germany. Known for his spirited personality, Paul had a mischievous side, always ready to share a laugh or bring joy to those around him. He had a deep passion for tinkering with cars and motorcycles, spending countless hours immersed in projects that reflected his creativity.

Paul is preceded in death by his beloved son, Lonny Bachhofer; his father, L.D.; brothers, Jack Bachhofer, Larry Bachhofer, Alan Branson; and sister, Bonnie Dimbat.

He is survived by his former wife and dear friend, Julia Barbee; his daughter, Kacie, and her husband, Brandon Eck; his mother, Bonnie Garner; and a large extended family who will remember him with love.

Paul’s wishes for cremation will be honored, with a celebration of his life to be held at a later date.
