Patricia "Pat" Fern Gill

Patricia “Pat” Fern Gill, 83, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023 in Shawnee.

She was born February 18, 1940 to Troy and Constance (Boucher) Joslin in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Pat grew up in Oklahoma City, attending Taft and Classen Schools.  She lived in Oklahoma and Texas after school, where she had three sons: Ray, Phil and Randy.

She worked as a secretary at Baptist Hospital where she met the love of her life William “Bill” Gill, Jr. and they married on February 21, 1964, in Shiprock, NM.  Pat gained two more sons then: Michael and Dale. 

Pat worked for Dr. Morrison in Oklahoma for many years.

She was a member of Highland Church of Christ in Tecumseh for many years.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband Bill and beloved dog, Trooper in their R.V.  Patricia loved caring for and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Gill, Jr. on December 14, 2015; her parents, Troy and Connie Joslin; and her beloved dog, Trooper.

Those left to cherish her memory are her 5 sons and 3 daughters-in-law, Mike Gill and Deborah Marshall of Tuttle, OK, Dale and Connie Gill of Choctaw, OK, Ray and Tammy Gill of Seminole, OK, Phil and Becky Gill of Tecumseh, OK, and Randy Gill of Shawnee, OK; 10 grandchildren, Trey and Tenae Gill, Sonja Gill and Brian Pope, Tricia and Charlie Annanders, Tara and Jason Brown, Brandy and Corey Thomas, Luke Gill, Drew Hays, Cody Hays, Clay and Bronte Gill, and Kaylee Gill; 15 great-grandchildren, Brenae and Jacob Lamb, Alexia Howell and Elijah James, Emily Loman and Sage Pope, Keilee Gill, Anniah Phillips, Landyn Hays, Davien Phillips, Cooper Gill, Taylor Brown, Landon Brown, Adelaide Gill, Ja’Kori Thomas, Hailie Hays, Titus Gill, and A’Kiylah Thomas; 8 great-great grandchildren, Brayli Lamb, Aubrie James, Jayci Lamb, Elias James, Roy Lamb, Alaia James, Ridge Pope and Allani James; half-sister, Troytana and Ron Wagenbach; cousins, Dan and Sue Joslin, Norma and Steve Murphy, Mary Ann and Bill Dangott, and Janie and Dick Braun; and other extended family and friends. 

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Tecumseh Cemetery Pavilion with Erick Henson, Tecumseh High Church of Christ officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
