In Loving Memory of Natalee Jade Wissman
September 21, 2024 – August 24, 2025
Our sweet Natalee Jade Wissman was born on September 21, 2024, and in her short time with us, brought more light, laughter, and joy than words can ever fully express. On August 24, 2025, at just 11 months old, she left our arms far too soon and entered into the presence of God.
Natalee was full of curiosity, always exploring her world with wide eyes and a bright smile. Her laugh was infectious, her spirit funny and sweet, and her presence a gift to everyone who knew her. Though her life was brief, her impact on our hearts is lasting and eternal.
She is deeply loved and forever cherished by her parents, Stephanie and Derrick Wissman, and her best friend and big sister, Madalynn. She was also adored by her older sisters Chelsea, Kate, and Lindsay. Natalee’s loving family also includes her Gran, JoAnne; Papa, Ken; GMa, Valerie; and PopPop, Dave. She is remembered with love by her many aunts and uncles: Austin and Nichole Malchar, Vicki and Bryn Gordon, Kenny and Sara Abel, Kevin and Nicole Abel, Haley and Duane Smith, Kayla and Rob West, Dylan Wissman and Tammy and Bob VanHorne. Natalee was also deeply loved by a wide circle of cousins, all of whom brought laughter and play into her days and cherished every moment with her.
Natalee was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Wendy Wakefield, and her aunt, Kendra Story, who we know welcomed her with open arms.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.”— Ecclesiastes 3:11
A celebration of Natalee’s life will be held on Saturday, October 4th at 11:00 AM at University Baptist Church, 2515 N Kickapoo Ave, Shawnee, OK 74804, with Pastor Justin Dunn officiating, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
In honor of Natalee’s memory, the family kindly asks that in lieu of flowers, donations of preemie and newborn clothes be brought to the service. These will be given to OU Children’s Hospital NICU, where other babies and families can be supported in her name.
We invite all who attend to wear bright colors to celebrate the joy Natalee brought to our lives.
Her life was short, but her love will live in our hearts forever.
