Mitchell "Mitch" Todd Henderson

Mitchell “Mitch” Todd Henderson, 59, of Wyandotte, Oklahoma passed from this life Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in Joplin, Missouri.

He was born November 29, 1963 to Wyvern and Charleen (Turner) Henderson in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Mitch proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for three years.  He was honorably discharged on November 7, 1991.

He owned and operated Calcor Fence Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mitch lived on Grand Lake where he enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and hiking with his beloved dog, Piper.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Cali Henderson of Taos, NM and Cori and husband Michael O’Keilly of Jenks, OK; 1 granddaughter, Eloise O’Keilly of Jenks, OK; mother, Charleen Henderson of Tulsa, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Tony Bonicelli of Sand Springs, OK; his beloved dog, “Piper”; and other extended family and friends.

Memorial Contributions may be to the Orthodox Church in Joplin, Missouri as an expression of sympathy.

Graveside Service with Military Funeral Honors was held at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with Reverend Father Michael Kuzara, Joy of All Who Sorrow Orthodox Church, Joplin, Missouri officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
