Marvin Yackeyonny, Jr. 48, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Monday, July 5, 2021 in Oklahoma City.
He was born December 31, 1972 to Marvin Lavan Yackeyonny and Hazel (Wilson) Yackeyonny in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Marvin was raised in Lawton and Cyril, Oklahoma. He lived in Oklahoma City for most of his adult life before moving to Shawnee where he has lived for the past 5 years.
Marvin was known as a jack of all trades, but was a brick layer by trade.
He was a proud member of the Comanche Nation. Marvin loved the outdoors and loved by his nieces and nephews and was the favorite uncle.
He was preceded in death father, Marvin Lavan Yackeyonny, Sr.; and brother, C. Keith Yackeyonny.
Survivors include his mother Hazel Battice of Shawnee; sister, Tina Ontiveros of Tecumseh; brothers, Cecil E. Brady and wife Marie of Earlsboro and Marlan J. Yackeyonny of Shawnee; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, 2021 and 9:00 a.m., to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Ricky Deer officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
