Margaret Frankovich, 87, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed from this life Thursday, October 14, 2021 in Shawnee.
She was born November 21, 1933 to Webb and Johnnie Fae (Brecheen) Embry in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma.
She was married to Clarence Frankovich on January 9, 1953 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1996.
Her family was the focal point of her life. She loved them dearly. She was a faithful member of Tecumseh Assembly of God. She taught Sunday school and worked in children’s church for over 50 years. She loved to travel having gone to England twice and to Belize. She traveled many times to Pennsylvania, Colorado and Branson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Frankovich; her parents, Webb and Johnnie Embry; one brother, J. Carroll Embry; and brother-in-law, Don Jones.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Jim Finch of Tecumseh, OK; son, Neil Frankovich of Shawnee, OK; 5 grandchildren, Kent and Lauren Vaughn, Mariya and B.J. Jacobs, Julie and Jeff Slaton, Angelle Frankovich and Jeff Verberne; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Jones of Ada, OK; 2 brothers and 3 sisters-in-law, Jerry and Jevita Embry of Howard, CO, Jack and Barbara Embry of Coaldale, CO and Linda Embry of Vanoss, OK; and many loving friends and extended family.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 18, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home and continue through service time. Service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Tecumseh First Assembly of God with Reverend Matt Rodgers and Reverend Don Jonker, Tecumseh First Assembly of God officiating. Burial will follow at McGee Cemetery in Stratford, OK under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
