Maddix Kade Bias

Maddix Kade Bias, age 18, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024 in Norman, Oklahoma.

He was born July 1, 2005 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Rusty Bias and Candi (Stokes) Morris.

Maddix played baseball during high school and graduated with the class of 2023 at Tecumseh High School. He went to Gordon Cooper Technology Center for Carpentry and Masonry.                                                          

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Kent and Kathy Crow.

Maddix loved going to the lake and listening to music with his friends, wrestling with his brother, being his sister’s backup singer, and a lifelong Cubs fan. 

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Rusty and Kari Bias of Shawnee, OK; mother and stepfather, Candi and Walter Morris of Tecumseh, OK; sister, Baylor McLain of Lincoln NE; brother, Jace Bias of Shawnee, OK; grandparents, Jimmy and Valarie Stokes of Tecumseh, OK,  Susie and Rick Stewart of Shawnee, OK, Gary and Elanor Wallis of Moore, OK, Jerry and Regina Bias of Shawnee, OK and Tom and Peggy Dorman of Crystal River, FL; uncles, Jimmy Stokes of Tecumseh, OK, Krayton Stewart of Tecumseh, OK, Allen Bias of Shawnee, OK, Matt Bias of Shawnee, OK, John David Jamison of Muskogee, OK and Chad Stewart of FL; aunt, Lindsay Emerson of OK;  And other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Thursday February 8, 2024 and continue through service time with family gathering from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to greet friends and family at Cooper Funeral Home.  Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Tecumseh Alumni Center with Reverend David Jordan of New Beginnings Church, Shawnee, OK officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
