Lori Lynn Freeman, 51, of Ada, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 in Ada.
She was born October 23, 1969 to Robert and Ada (James) Jackson in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Lori was raised in Shawnee where she attended Shawnee Public Schools. She graduated with the class of 1987 from Shawnee High School. Lori earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business from OSU in Tulsa.
She married Michael Freeman on October 20, 1990 at Trinity Baptist Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma. In 2001 they moved to Okmulgee where they lived for 18 years until making their home in Ada where they have lived since 2019.
Lori taught 4th and 5th grade at Henryetta until moving to Ada where she taught 4th grade.
She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Ada. Lori loved reading, especially her Bible, eating out, enjoyed bird watching, taking walks, and spending family time with her girls and Michael.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ada (James) Jackson; her in-laws, Reverend Sidney and June Freeman.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of over 30 years, Michael Freeman of the home; 2 daughters, Mackenzie Freeman and Audrey Freeman of the home; 1 sister, Patti and Richard Carlson of Earlsboro, OK; 2 nieces, Crystal Heatley and Erika Stephens; and many loving friends and extended family.
Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 12, 2021 and continue through service time. Service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Trinity Baptist Church in Ada, OK with Reverend Rusty Fuller, Trinity Baptist Church, Lawrence Matlock and Richard Manning officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee, OK under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
