Lois Mildred Tipton

Lois Mildred Tipton, age 97, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on February 8, 2026, in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

She was born on February 9, 1928, in Macomb, Oklahoma, to Willis Patten and Edith (Alkire) Patten.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Willis Patten and Edith (Alkire) Patten; husband, James C. Tipton and great grandson, Hunter Tipton.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children son, Gary and Cathy Tipton, Crossville, Tennessee and daughter, Jan Tipton and David Austin, Shawnee, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Rebecca Tipton of Lafayette, Louisiana and Heather Stringer of Sumrall, Mississippi; great grandchildren, Emily Jeanmard, Indianapolis and Miranda Jeanmard, Fort Washington, Maryland; brothers, David Patten, Norman, Oklahoma and Ronnie Patten, Tecumseh Oklahoma; numerous friends and extended family.
