Linda Kay (Rigby) Alford

Linda Kay Alford, age 78 of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025 at her home.

She was born March 22, 1947 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to William Paul and Edna May (Burton) Rigby.  She was raised in California and graduated from   High School.

Linda married Robbie Lee Alford on November 6, 1980 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was a good homemaker, and she loved doing anything with her hands, from construction to crocheting.

Linda is preceded in death by; her parents; her grandmother, Minnie Burton; and her brothers, William Andy Rigby, and David Paul Rigby.

Those left to cherish her memory are; her husband, Robbie Lee Alford of the home; son, David Gwin, Jr. of Texas; daughter, Darlene Kay Puckett of Eufaula; son, William Anthony Gwin, of Tennessee; daughter, Robbie Lynn Hennigh of Choctaw; 18 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. 

Visitation will be held 12 PM to 8 PM Monday, June 30, 2025 at Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh.  Service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dick Temple officiating.  Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
