Lillie Jean Dossey, 89, of Shawnee, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, April 30, 2023.
She was born May 1, 1933, in Nashville, Arkansas to Harry Thomas Dallas and Minnie Etta (Dyer) Dallas.
Lillie married her husband, Charley Dossey, on May 4, 1951, in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. They were blessed with two children from their union, Tommy Keith Dossey, and Mary Jane Dossey.
Her hobbies included working in her beautiful flower beds, reading her favorite magazines, and simply spending quality time with her family. She was proud to be known as Mamaw by her granddaughter and great grandsons, who always made her smile.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Dossey, her parents, Harry Thomas and Minnie Etta Dallas, and siblings, Virgalee Hines, Majalee Latimer, and Billy Wayne Dallas.
Lillie Jean is survived by her son, Tommy Dossey of Shawnee; her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and Paul Needham of Shawnee; granddaughter, Caitlin Brigan and her husband, Luke Brigan of Moore; great grandsons, Oliver Brigan, Theo Brigan, and Everett Brigan; sister, Dorthey Hedrick of Texarkana, TX; three brothers, Joe Dallas of Nashville, AR, Clarence Dallas and his wife, Robbie Dallas of Mineral Springs, AR, and Bobby Dallas and his wife Marcille Dallas of Nashville, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Tecumseh Cemetery with Chaplain Randall Miller, Choice Hospice, Shawnee, OK under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
