Larry Tiger Goodwin, 54, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at him home.
He was born April 14, 1967 in Norman, Oklahoma to Leon and Donna (Fortney) Goodwin.
Larry was raised in Moore, Little Axe and Tecumseh. He graduated from Moore High School.
He married Sheila Nieto in Little Axe, Oklahoma.
Larry served his country in the U.S. Army during the Gulf War and was honorably discharged.
He worked for Sam’s Club as a product and juice sample host.
Larry was a proud member of The Absentee Shawnee Tribe. He loved to gamble, go the casinos and enjoyed life and like to have a good time. Larry loved his children and was a beloved father, brother, uncle and grandfather.
He was preceded in death his parents, Leon and Donna Goodwin; and his birth mother, Nora Tiger.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Goodwin of the home; daughters, Dawn Wilson and Shane and Alissa Goodwin and Darnell Pasena; twin sons, Joseph Goodwin and Joshua Goodwin of Zuni, NM; 3 grandchildren; brother, Terry Little Charley and Marilyn; sisters, Donna Cody and Clellen, Dorthea Crocker and Nina Taylor; aunt, Frances Blanchard; uncles, Raymond Tiger and Eugene Strickland and Anita; cousin, Jan Maxwell; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Tribal Rites will be Wednesday evening, March 30, 2022 at Little Axe Community Center with Glenn Mann officiating. Burial will be Thursday morning, March 31, 2022 at Tiger Family Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
