Larry David Fishburn, 77 of Stigler, Oklahoma gained his heavenly reward, September 5, 2025, in McCalister, Oklahoma.
Larry was born May 20, 1948, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to David and Lela Fishburn.
He married Joann (Finch) Fishburn December 1967 and was married until 1993. Together they had three children.
Larry was a jack of all trades and a professional cobbler. He loved working on old trucks, going to flea markets and thrift stores, being outdoors and eating old-fashioned potato candy. He also had a special fondness for stray dogs.
He turned his life over to Christ our Savior shortly before passing away at the hospital.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Norma Lyles; brother Phillip “Bo” Fishburn.
Those left to cherish his memory; daughters, Kari and Patrick Bucholtz, Lawtey Florida, Joy Moore, Hazlehurst, Georgia; son, Larry Fishburn JR, Little Rock Arkansas; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brother, Jerry and Betty Fishburn, Lawtey, Florida; sisters, Sandra Hock, Shawnee, Oklahoma, Joy and Joe Delossantos, Jane, Missouri; and a large host of nieces and nephews whom he loved.
Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2025 and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Cooper Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Mars Hill Cemetery, Macomb Oklahoma, with Brother Jesse Cagler officiating, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
