Kristina Anne Martinez

Kristina Anne Martinez, 49, of Meeker, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at her home.

She was born January 29, 1974 to Marvin and Raynona (Gunther) Bohrer in Newport News, Virginia.

Kristina grew up in the Shawnee and Meeker areas.  She attended Bethel, South Rock Creek and Meeker Public Schools.  She graduated in 1993 from Meeker High School.

Kristina was a truck driver for about 8 years and worked at Davis Correctional Facility in Holdenville as a corrections officer for 10 years.

She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and was confirmed by Johnathan Colcher.  Kristina was a loving person to all her pets and many animals that she cared for over the years, especially German Shepherds.  She was part of the Civil Air Patrol, Sea Scouts Explorer and enjoyed leather crafting, ceramics, and painting.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Bohrer; 5 children by miscarriage; uncles, Ted Bohrer, Marcy Rowell, and Maurice Gunther; grandparents, Jim and Maxine Bohrer and Alexander and Esther Gunther.

Survivors include her mother, Raynona Bohrer of Meeker; brother and sister-in-law, James and Felecia Bohrer of Meeker; niece, Paden Keeton of Meeker; 2 uncles and 2 aunts, Mike and Jude Bohrer of Wichita, KS and Alexander and Wilma Gunther of Hayesville, KS; cousins, Shanna Bohrer, Heather Bohrer, Alex Gunther, Clark Gunther, Sandra Purcell, and Kyle Rowell; and her beloved German Shepherds and cats.

Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2023 at Quinton City Cemetery with Pastor Matthew Tassey, Redeemer Lutheran Church, Shawnee, OK officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
