Kevin Lee Mack, OPV, age 50, of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023 in Okemah, Oklahoma.
Kevin was born June 6, 1973 in Talahina, Oklahoma, to Dewayne and Alice Francis (Deere) Mack.
He was raised in Cromwell and graduated from Butner School in 1991.
Kevin worked at the Wrangler plant in Seminole for several years before going to work for the Seminole Nation as an Immersion Teacher teaching the Seminole language.
He loved attending Pow-Wows, Native American Church and being at the ceremonial ground RVRO KVLKV. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, watching high school basketball and the Buffalo Bills.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Tafv Mack; his father, Dewayne George Mack; sister, Meleah Mack; and 2 uncles, Phillip "JD" Deere, and James Deere Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Ella Mack of the home; 6 children, Malayah Mack of Earlsboro, OK, Devin Lee Mack of Seminole, OK, Rylan Emory Mack (Courtney) of Okmulgee, OK, Justin Wayne Mack of Earlsboro, OK, Kylan Cole Mack of Earlsboro, OK, and Kristy Nicole Hill of Seminole, OK; 7 grandchildren; his mother, Alice Francis Mack of Cromwell, OK; and 4 siblings, Josie Fields (Junior) of Cromwell, OK, Thomas Mack (Chris) of Bowlegs, OK, Felix Mack (Angela) of Seminole, OK, and Darrin Mack of Cromwell, OK; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, October 2, 2023 and Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the Mack Family Home, 3529 E.W. 1190 Rd., Lot 167, Seminole, OK 74868. Wake will be Wednesday evening, October 4, 2023 at the Alice Mack Home, 36619 Hwy 99A, Seminole, OK 74868. Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 5, 2023 with Reverend Eric Thlocco and Ceremonial Ground Speakers. Burial will follow at Mack-Bell Family Cemetery in Cromwell under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
