Kenneth C. Austin, 75, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at his home.
He was born July 15, 1945 to Joel and Goldie (King) Austin in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Kenneth was raised in Shawnee and graduated with the class of 1963 from Shawnee High School.
He married Diana Neves on February 11, 1969 in Wyoming.
Kenneth began his career at Tinker Air Force Base in the plating shop and ended his career running the paint and decal shop retiring in 2007 after 41 years of service.
After retirement he enjoyed tinkering around the house and in the shop and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joel and Goldie Austin; 1 great-granddaughter; and 1 brother-in-law.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Kris Cleveland of Shawnee, Janie Austin of Shawnee, Sarah and Curtis Mitchell of Shawnee and Nancy and Darren Mize of Tecumseh; 1 son, Gene and Karon Austin of Harrah; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Janice Moore; and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home. No formal services will be held. Burial will be at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
