Kathryn "Kathy" (Wittmann) Crow

Kathryn “Kathy” (Wittmann) Crow, 61, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed from this life Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in Shawnee. 

She was born October 3, 1957 to Gwen Dale and Beatrice (Flores) Wittmann in Leadville, Colorado. 

Kathy’s family moved to Tecumseh when she was a baby and she attended Shawnee Public Schools.  She graduated with the class of 1975 from Shawnee High School.  Kathy later attended Seminole Jr. College. 

She married Kent Crow on July 23, 1976 at the First Baptist Church in Earlsboro, Oklahoma.  They began their family in Shawnee later moving to South Rock Creek where they have lived for the past 39 years. 

Kathy was a dedicated and devoted wife, mother, nonna and homemaker.  She also worked outside the home at Tinker AFB for a time, as cook at Grove School, substitute teacher at Tecumseh Schools and most recently as an auditor with the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. 

Kathy was a strong willed women and the caregiver of her family, especially her loving care and devotion to her husband Kent.  She enjoyed sitting on the porch with Kent, teasing her grandson, Jace and was passionate about her grandsons and daughter.  She will be dearly missed by her family and all those who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice Wittmann; grandson, 2 sisters, Bert Anderson and Julie Robinson; and her beloved grandmother, Irene. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Kent Crow of the home; 1 daughter and 1 son-in-law, Kari and Rusty Bias of Shawnee, OK; 2 grandsons, Jace Bias and Maddix Bias of Shawnee, OK; her father, Dale Wittmann of Shawnee, OK; 3 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law, Joe Respicio of Moore, OK, Franky and Pam Respicio of Moore, OK and Lloyd and Brenda Wittman of Cromwell, OK; 2 sisters and 1 brother-in-law, Doris O’Dell of South Dakota and Betty Ann and Richard Taylor of Pink, OK; and many loving friends and extended family. 

Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Hilltop Baptist Church in Shawnee with Reverend Gary Nickerson, Hilltop Baptist Church officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
