Kara was a loving wife and mother to her husband Dustin, and her children, Marcus and Lilli.  She loved to teach in the fields of English and art, and she worked very hard to provide the best possible educational experiences for her students.  She was very creative and artistic, which is evident in their home, and she enjoyed crocheting in her spare time.  She loved music, camping, and spending time with her precious family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Phillips Roberts; and maternal grandparents, Bill and Betty Phillips; and paternal grandparents, Jack and Jean Roberts.
