Julie Renee Burleson

Julie Renee Burleson, 58, lifelong resident of Bethel, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

She was born September 30, 1964, to Darrell George Ball and Phyllis Ann Richards in Shawnee.

Julie graduated from Bethel High School class of 1982. She worked for home health for many years.

She enjoyed knitting, OU football, cooking, and enjoyed singing.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Phyllis Stewart and Rick Hamilton; father, Darrell "Buddy Ball of Midwest City; her fiancé, John Merritt of the home; daughter, Caitlin May of Shawnee; 3 sons, Matt and Tamra Burleson of Bethel, Mark Burleson of Shawnee, and Ryan and Tiffany May of Tecumseh; 6 grandchildren; I sister, Kim and David Dunn of Tecumseh; 2 brothers, Eddy and Denise Ball of Arizona, Danny and Terri Ball of Shawnee; and numerous family members and friends.

Visitation will be Noon to 8:00 pm., Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Family will be Gathering from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2023, to greet friends and family at Cooper Funeral home. Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 27, 2023, with Reverend Ruben Marquez officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
