Julie Selfridge Fellows, a longtime resident of Pottawatomie County, went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2024. Born on April 10, 1937, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, she was the beloved daughter of Forest Lemuel and Opal Anson Selfridge. Julie was baptized on February 18, 1945, in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Julie married the love of her life, Bernie Fellows of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, on August 23, 1958. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, finding joy in caring for her family. Julie was a devout Catholic and a dedicated follower of Christ.
She is survived by her sisters Ella Mae Dobbs of Sallisaw and Jeanette Cabaniss of Sallisaw, son George Fellows and his wife Beth of Seminole, Oklahoma, and her daughter Teresa Roe of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Julie's legacy includes her grandchildren, Amanda Morton, Roberta Lewis, Geoffrey Fellows, Cody and wife Karina Roe, and Cory and wife Sidney Roe, as well as her great-grandchildren, Andrew Lewis, Katie Bowden, Summer Bowden, Corbin Bowden, Blayze Lewis, Shelby Fellows, Maddy Carpenter, Ember Lewis, and Lily Roe. She was also blessed with great-great-grandchildren Kori and Nathanel. Also, sisters and brothers in laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
Julie is preceded in death by her husband Bernie Fellows, her parents, Forest and Opal Selfridge; her brothers, Donald Selfridge of Seminole, Michael Selfridge of McLoud, and William Selfridge of Seminole; and her sister, Tena Selfridge of Oklahoma City.
Julie will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
