Judy Ann Wiley, age 72, of Luther passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 in Oklahoma City.
She was born July 6, 1947 in Shawnee to John Raymond and Margie Lorene (Knoles) Utter.
Judy was born and raised in Shawnee. She attended Irving grade school and graduated from Shawnee High School in 1965. Judy also attended OBU and OSU Tech. While attending high school she was a member of the band and worked at Arden’s dress shop.
After high school Judy moved to Oklahoma City where she worked for the Oklahoma City Water Department, Myriad Convention Center and Hoster Steel.
She married Lee Wiley on September 18, 1988.
Judy owned and operated Oklahoma Rebar, Inc. and then worked in the corporate offices of Mazzio’s before retirement.
She was a member of Blue Birds, Campfire, and Rainbow for girls and a lifetime member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Shawnee. Judy was co-founder of the SHS class of 65 lunch bunch, co-chair of 1965 class reunion committee and a board member of the Shawnee High School Alumni Association and was very instrumental in the organization and growth of the association.
Judy lived in Oklahoma City and Moore before making her home in Luther where she has lived since.
Judy enjoyed spending time at their place at Lake Eufaula, visiting with family and friends, laughing and giving hugs.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband; 2 stepsons, Leslie Wiley and Larry Wiley; 2 sisters and brothers in law, Joana and Larry Pope of NM and Mary and Bill Bennett of Shawnee; 1 brother and sister in law, Ray and Marci Utter of Shawnee; aunt, Elaine and Jim McBee of Shawnee; and numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
