Judith Annette Harjo, 82, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in McLoud, Oklahoma.
She was born February 6, 1939 to Hezzy and Edith (Perryman) Duvall in Claremore, Oklahoma.
Judith grew up in Jenks, Oklahoma and graduated from Jenks High School. She lived most of her life in Shawnee.
She married Jimmy Harjo on October 29, 1967 in Jenks, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on October 26, 1996.
Judith worked for many years at Oklahoma Baptist University as an accountant and later at Stewart Wholesale for several years before retiring.
She was a longtime member of Faith Community Church of God. Judith loved to cook, like to read and listen to books on tape and loved helping others in need. She loved her kids and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Harjo; daughter, Annette Silva; parents, Hezzy and Edith Duvall; and 2 brothers, David Duvall and Jerry Duvall.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Bonifacio Silva of Shawnee, OK; son-in-law, Leonardo Silva of Shawnee, OK; 4 grandchildren, Adrian Silva and wife Sarah of Oklahoma City, OK, Benjamin Silva of Shawnee, OK, Luke Silva of Shawnee, OK and Nicholas Silva of Shawnee, OK; sister, Edith Irene Webb of Jenks, OK; sister-in-law, Nam Duvall of Jenks, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 18, 2021 and continue through service time. Service will be 2:30 p.m., Monday, April 19, 2021 at Faith Community Church of God, MacArthur and Bryan, Shawnee, OK with Reverend Tom Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, Shawnee, OK under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
