John Allred Obituary

John David Allred, 21, from Newalla, Oklahoma, passed from this life November 8, 2025, in Syracuse, New York.

John was born March 27, 2004, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Ronald David Allred II and Nicole Nechak Warlick.

He is a 2023 graduate of Bethel High School, and from there he attended Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas.

John had a radiant smile that could light up any room, and his presence alone brought warmth and joy. His remarkable laugh, unforgettable hugs, and a gift for making people feel seen and appreciated are what made him so special. Charming, kind-hearted, and deeply devoted to his Lord and Savior, he loved his family, his friends, and the simple joy of being together. His words were thoughtful and intentional, always meant to lift people up. Loyal and protective, he cherished family traditions and delighted in including others.

Though naturally gifted, it was his heart and determination that made him the athlete he was. Sports were his world—football, skating, shooting hoops—and he was equally competitive at cards, board games, and video games. John began playing football in kindergarten and continued through his senior year, still holding the tackling record at Bethel High School. After graduating from Bethel in 2023, he went on to play at Southwestern College in Kansas before returning home to explore new paths and pursue the hands-on work he enjoyed.

In all he did, John set the tone with grit and leadership, his heart and humility defining him. He could be grumpy and a little stubborn at times, and he had a fearless streak that some might call dangerous–but at his core he was kind, gracious, grateful, humble, and filled with the sweetest, most loving soul. He loved music and dancing—and his dance moves were truly legendary. His many alarms drove people crazy, because John loved to sleep, and he did it anywhere, anytime.

Though many knew him for his incredible talent on the football field, he was so much more: a son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle and loyal friend. As gifted as he was, he was often his own toughest critic, not always seeing the greatness others saw in him. In spite of how he viewed himself, he was everyone’s biggest supporter, always cheering others on. To say he was loved by many hardly captures his impact. Above all, John loved with his whole heart—his people and his Lord—and the warmth of his presence will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; father, Ron Allred II and wife Courtney, McLoud, Oklahoma; mother, Nicole & Jerad Warlick, Stillwater Oklahoma; grandparents, Ron and Gail Allred of Newalla, Oklahoma, Cathy Nechak, Liverpool, New York; siblings, Kyler and Kyleigh Denton, Stryker & Ryder Warlick, Raycen & Noah Allred, Kaylee & Levi Lillard, Jax Bowles; nieces and nephew, Taelynn, Channie, Lyle; aunts and uncles, Crystal & Tony Watts, Sara & Dean Parnell, Clayton & Emily Allred, Kristin Bonds; cousins Kelly, Brody, Dakotah, Nick, Connor, Carson, Christian, Alyssa, and Kaylin; and other extended family and friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Blackburn Baptist Church, Bethel Acres, Oklahoma with Pastor Kyle Fowler, First Baptist Church, Tecumseh, and Reverend Larry Sparks, Blackburn Baptist Church, Bethel Acres, Oklahoma Officiating.
