Jo Erlene Graham, born June 1, 1961, passed from this life, and went home to be with the Lord, on November 14, 2024. She died in her home, at 63 years of age, surrounded by her kids and grandkids who loved her dearly.
Jo spent the first half of her life in Arlington, Texas, where she was born. She lived and worked in Arlington and Mansfield. Jo lived the second half of her life in Bethel Acres,
Oklahoma. Jo raised her kids and retired there.
Jo was a child of God. Her faith in the Lord was strong. Jo was an incredibly loving person. Her heart knew no limit. Because her love for family was so big, it extended far past those related to her by blood. She mothered two children of her own, but left this world a mother, and grandmother, of many. She had a hand in loving and helping raise many children and grandchildren over the years. Jo was naturally drawn to caring for anyone she felt needed it. Her natural tendency to give was not second nature; it was her nature. Even in difficult times, Jo was incredibly forgiving, and she always tried to see the best in everyone.
Jo and her family had a small farm over the years. She enjoyed raising animals and livestock, and loved working outdoors with her husband. Jo loved to craft and scrapbook.
Jo got her college education at Rose State College. She worked as a Certified Nurse Aide for several years, and later worked as a Food Service Specialist, before retiring.
Jo loved the holidays and treasured the time between October to December. She got joy from decorating, shopping for others, and listening to Christmas music. She ensured that her family created lifelong memories and traditions for every holiday.
If she could be here now, she would tell you all not to cry for her. She would tell you of how wonderful and beautiful Heaven is. She would tell you to remember the good times and memories, and remind you that she will see you later!
