Jimmy Ray Hadley, 73, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 at his home.
He was born on August 1, 1950 to Emerson and Letha Gladys (Eubanks) Hadley in Richmond, California.
Jimmy grew up in California and Oklahoma graduating from Holdenville High School. He later completed two years of college.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged.
Jimmy lived in Knuckles Scotland for a short time, spending most of his life in Southern Oklahoma until moving to Tecumseh where he has resided for the last year.
He married Shirlay BeLindia Gwoompl on October 1, 2016. She preceded him in death on December 3, 2022.
Jimmy worked in the Oil and Gas Industry as a Mud Engineer for many years in offshore drilling. He taught mud engineering for more than 30 years including Seminole State and other places.
Jimmy loved Cardinals Baseball, music, playing his guitar, singing and was very talented.
He was preceded in death by his wife, BeLindia Hadley; his parents; and brother, Jerry Hadley.
Survivors include his 2 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Bobbie and James Hatcher of Gainesville, TX and Barbara and Nathan Nadeau of Bowlegs, OK; 1 son and 1 daughter-in-law, Tim and Kaylee Hadley of Broken Arrow, OK; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister-in-law, Emerson “Gene” and Kay Hadley of Edmond, OK; and other extended family and friends.
In honor of Jimmy’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Cremation arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. There will be no viewing.
