Harold Elwood Hall, Jr., age 78, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023.
He was born on March 17, 1945 in Beeville Texas to Harold Elwood Hall, Sr. and Lillian (Kime) Hall.
He lived in Blytheville Arkansas until moving to Midwest City, Oklahoma at a young age where he was raised.
Harold proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After returning from service, he moved back to the Oklahoma City area.
He worked as an auto mechanic and eventually opened his own mechanic shop "Auto Pro" on SE 44th in Oklahoma City. He lived in Midwest City for many years before moving to Tecumseh in 2006.
In the 1980’s he opened his own Machine Shop in Shawnee on Main Street. He later became the plant manager at Central Plastics. He lived in Arizona for a short time where he worked as a Locksmith.
He attended and was a member of Highland Church of Christ in Tecumseh.
Harold loved tinkering with things and recently bought a robot to see how it worked to start building his own. He built a gyro helicopter and was working on remembering his locksmith training. He loved teaching children how things worked.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his soulmate and wife of over 31 years, Cynthia Ann Hall of the Home; 3 sons, Hal and Yolanda Hall of Phoenix, AZ, Kevin Hall of Texas and Chris Hall; 3 daughters, Paula Sue and David Woolf of Yukon, OK, Cindy Hall of Texas and Courtney Hall of MO; 3 stepdaughters, Ginger Broomes of TX, Stephanie Crooks of Okarche, OK and Lisa Crooks-Haynes of Stroud, OK; 1 brother, Russell D. Hall of Oklahoma City, OK; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 12, 2023 and continue through service time. Service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Tecumseh Highland Church of Christ with Erick Henson, Highland Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
