Gregory Lee Armstrong

Gregory Lee Armstrong, age 69, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on May 3, 2026.

Gregory was born on December 13, 1956, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Marvin and Wanda (Burgess) Armstrong. He spent most of his life in Shawnee, with a brief time living in Kansas.

Gregory worked as a laborer throughout much of his life. In his free time, he enjoyed building models and creating art sketches. He especially valued the friendships he formed with fellow residents in his apartment community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Wanda Armstrong, and his brother, Richard Armstrong.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Kelly Armstrong, his sister, Marla Plunkett as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday May 7, 2026 and from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday May 8, 2026 at Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh, Oklahoma with family gathering to greet friends and loved ones from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Tecumseh Cemetery Pavilion under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
