Glenda A. (Barton) Graham, 72, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023, in Oklahoma City.
She was born November 30, 1950 to Hobert William and Ola Mae (Richards) Barton in Port Clinton, Ohio.
Glenda was raised in Midfield, Alabama where she attended school. She lived in Oklahoma since 1987 and was currently a resident of Shawnee.
She married Benny Graham in June 2005 in Russellville, Arkansas.
Glenda worked as a cashier and worked in healthcare at Colonial Estates Nursing Home in Shawnee and Sunset Estates Nursing Home in Tecumseh for many years.
She loved going to church, decorating, music, singing, painting, shopping and loved the Lord. Glenda loved being a wife, mother and grandmother; and loved her family and grandkids with her whole heart.
She was preceded in death by her 2 sons, Charles Self, Jr. and Carey Glenn Self; 3 brothers, Billy Barton, Dennis Barton and Allen Fleming; and sister, Darlene McDaniels.
Survivors include her husband, Benny Graham of the home; 1 daughter and 1 son-in-law, Dana and Landon Evans of Alabama; 1 son and 1 daughter-in-law, Steven and Kaci Self of Oklahoma, 2 daughters-in-laws, Raythene Self of Oklahoma and Marie Self of Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren, Jeff Verberne, Angelle Frankovich, Krissy Vieres, Kenny Guffey, Cody Self, Cori Self, Katelyn Self, Braydon Self, Lariah Self, Austin Fowler, Tyler Evans, Zachary Evans, Jordan Evans, Michael Evans and Samuel Evans; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2023 and continue through service time. Service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
