Georgia Jacqueline "Jackie" Jones

Georgia Jacqueline "Jackie" Jones, 96, passed away on February 01, 2024 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Jackie was born on May 23, 1927 to Dee J. and Laura Mabel (Davis) Spaugy in St. Louis, Oklahoma.

She was raised in Pearson and graduated from Shawnee High School.

Jackie married Clarence Clayton Jones on April 15, 1946, in Shawnee.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved cooking meals for them and helping care for her great grandchildren. Her hobbies were sewing, gardening, going to garage sales and traveling with her husband on his motorcycle.

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clayton Jones; daughter, Linda Thomas; son, Bob Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Chris Rigney; grandson-in-law, Robert Maggard; brother, Ronald Spaugy; sister, Jean Stubbs.   

She is survived by; granddaughter, Rachelle Enright and husband Kevin; grandson, Todd Rigney and wife Shawna; granddaughter, Traci Keel and husband Thomas; granddaughter, Kelli Thomas; great-grandchildren, Seth Maggard, Kaitlyn Rigney, Kolbe Rigney, Farrah Enright, Paisley Keel, Jace Enright, and Drew Keel; brother-in-law, Russell Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. 

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home.  Service will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024, 2:00 p.m.at Cooper Funeral Home with Guy Cagle officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
