Garrick "Butter" Allen James Rattan

Garrick "Butter" Allen James Rattan, age 25, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2024 in Ada, Oklahoma.

He was born October 8, 1998, in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Rick and Gayla (Moutaw) Rattan.

Garrick graduated from Tecumseh High School in 2019. He was currently a resident at McCall’s Chapel in Ada, OK.

He was a member of Earlsboro Indian Baptist Church.

Garrick loved to swim. He dearly loved water slides and carnival rides. He loved to fish and go on drives with his dad, late at night. He loved fireworks, movies, such as “Shrek”. He loved his tablet and his dad’s phone. He and his mom loved Falls Creek together. They loved the CPN Festival together, every summer. Many Summer days were spent at the lake or the dollar movies. Most of all, Garrick loved the Lord and is now in Heaven, waiting on us….

He was preceded in death by his Meme, Arleen Rattan.

He was the youngest of four brothers. Preston Lockhart of Purcell, OK; Cole Rattan and Krishta Rhodd of Tecumseh, OK, and Alexander Rattan of Tecumseh, OK.

Garrick is survived by his parents, brothers and other family. He is also survived by his grandparents, Donald and Patty Moutaw of Tecumseh, OK, and Leon Rattan of Meeker, OK.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2024 and 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 2, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday September 3, 2024 at Blackburn Baptist Church with Larry Sparks, Gaylen Walker and Kellos Walker of Earlsboro Indian Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Blackburn Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
