Ellen Virginia Whittet, 79, of Choctaw, Oklahoma passed away Monday, November 10, 2025.
Ellen was born March 16, 1946 to Charley and Minnie (Matthews) Lloyd in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
She married David Whittet on December 31, 1982. They made their home in Choctaw for the past 42 years.
Ellen worked for Orbitz taco shell manufacturing, Wix-Perry Filter in filter manufacturing. After which she pursued her sewing and quilting passion.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and quilting for family and friends, candy making, cooking and going to the Casino.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Terry Caudle and Roland Caudle; 1 daughter, Tammy Maeder; 4 sisters, Welda Nailon, Glenda Moon, Rita Aytes and Donna Hobbs; 3 brothers, Melvin Lloyd, Charley Lloyd and Sherman Lloyd; grandson, JR Ellis; stepson, David Lynn Ellis; stepdaughter, Debra Williams.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 42 years, David Whittet of the home; 5 sons, Dean Hoisington of Oklahoma City, OK, Tracey Caudle of Lexington, OK, Darrel Caudle of Midwest City, OK, David Caudle of Midwest City, OK and Bryan Keith Caudle of Choctaw, OK; 2 step sons JD Ellis and wife Tina Grantham of Checotah OK, Lonny Whittet and wife Regina of Shawnee OK; 2 sisters, Charlene Pipins of Sieling, OK and Linda Ramsey of Bethel Acres, OK; 1 brother, DeWayne and Rita Brimm of Maysville, OK; grandchildren, Tosha, Bryan, Cody, Chrystal and Chayanne, Ashley, Mark, Cody, Jody, Kevin, Amanda, Dillon, Tiffany, Tyler, Jimmy ; great-grandchildren, Brennon, Nellie, Nicholas, Lesley, Makenna, Lane, Layla, Isiah, Maggie, Tommy, Aaron, Jayden, Kaylee, Roslynn, Raiden, Lincoln, Beckham, Huxley, Blakely, Kalani, Cameron, Braylan, Nolan, Zayden, Caden, Daniel, Kaiden, Tayla, Brantley; and other loving extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2025 and continue through service time with family gathering from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to greet friends and family at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
