Debra Ann Williams age, 62, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
She was born on September 21, 1961 in Hayward, California to George “Dean” and LaDonna (Hodde) Ellis.
Debbie was born in Hayward, California then moved to Choctaw when she was 8, she also lived in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. For a short time, Debbie attended Choctaw schools. She has lived in Shawnee since 1994.
Debbie was a homemaker for most of her adult life. Debra worked at her parent’s cafe "Arts Cafe” on Beard Street in Shawnee when she was young, and Bean's Construction.
She loved camping, bingo, and going to everything her grandchildren were involved in.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, George “Dean” Ellis; first husband, Tommy Deatherage; brother, David Ellis; aunt, Mary Lee Penson; aunt, Jean Heath; and nephew, David Ellis Jr.
Survivors include her husband of the home, Michael Williams of Shawnee; mother, Donna Ellis of Shawnee; step-father, David Whittet and Ellen of Choctaw; sons, Kevin and Kristie Deatherage of Shawnee; Cody and Rachael Deatherage of Guthrie; Jody and Tonya Deatherage of Meeker; brothers, Lonnie and Gina Whittet of Bethel Acres; JD Ellis and Tina Grantham of Checotah; and many other extended family and friends.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Guy Cagle officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
