Darrell Dewaine Lamb, 60, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed from this life Thursday, May 27, 2021.

He was born February 21, 1961 to Carl and Lillie Mae (Hughes) Lamb in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Darrell was raised in McLoud and graduated from McLoud High School in 1979.  He lived in McLoud, Shawnee, Bethel Acres and Tecumseh.

He married Sharlie Jo Young on July 7, 1990 in McLoud, Oklahoma.  

Darrell went to work at General Motors right after high school and held several positions until his retirement in 2009.  After retirement he worked at Salvation Army and Shawnee News Star in the Printing Department.

He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed sports and was an avid Green Bay Packers and OU fan.  Darrell especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, Bentley and Benson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Sharlie Jo Lamb of the home; daughter, Karlie Sue Lamb of the home; 3 grandchildren, Bentley Brown, Benson Brown and Aubrey Johnson-Lamb; 1 son, Dylan Dewaine Lamb of Lawton, OK; 1 sister, Shelly Lamb of Choctaw, OK; step-father, Merle Gordon of El Reno, OK; and other extended family and friends.

Service will be 2:30 p.m., Friday, June 4, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Jack Mitchell officiating.   Burial will follow at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
